Application for Sponsorship

At the same time that you are completing and submitting your application to either the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS) or to the Ontario University Application Service (OUAS), you need to be completing the Garden River Application for Post-Secondary Educational Assistance. This is what you must submit in order to be considered for sponsorship from Garden River.

In order to process your GRFN Application for Sponsorship in a timely manner, you must complete all necessary information (that means your registry #, date, birth date, complete address, allowance category, full education plan, etc.) on the GRFN Application for Educational Assistance, sign the four documents and return to my office before the applicable deadline by fax, email or mail.

You must submit an application for each academic year and/or semester that you wish to attend.

All applicants will be notified as soon as possible after the deadline for which you applied.

Sponsorship is dependent upon funding available, the school/program interested in and the review of your sponsorship history with GRFN.

GRFN Application for Sponsorship Deadlines

The deadlines to submit your GRFN Application for sponsorship for both FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME SPONSORSHIP are always as follows:

Spring/Summer : April 15th
Fall : June 15th
Winter : October 15th

Sponsorship Deadlines are strictly adhered to!

Completed application packages must be received in my office by these dates. If you are trying to submit your application too close to a deadline, please fax OR scan and email your documents in .pdf format FIRST to ensure that you meet the deadline and then mail the originals. I suggest that you follow-up with a telephone call to ensure that we have received your documents in time.
